why plant trees?
Trees clean the air we breathe and the water we drink. They help stabilize our climate, provide habitat for biodiversity, and create sustainable jobs.
80% OF THE WORLD'S FORESTS ARE ALREADY DESTROYED
Every 2 seconds man destroys an area of forest the size of a football field. This must be reversed. The world’s rainforests could vanish in 100 years at this rate of deforestation.
why trees are so important

300 billion tons of carbon are stored in the Earth's forests, which helps regulate its climate by regulating atmospheric gases, stabilizing rainfall, and protecting against desertification.

70% of the world’s plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to deforestation. Loss of habitat can lead to species extinction. This is not only a biodiversity tragedy but also has negative consequences for medicinal research and local populations who rely on the animals and plants in the forests.

Without tree roots to anchor the soil and with increased exposure to sun, the soil can dry out, leading to problems like increased flooding and inability to farm. The WWF states that a third of the world’s arable land has been lost to deforestation since 1960.
why focus on reforestation?
We want to create a more sustainable world where everything has a chance to thrive. Planting trees is such a simple and effective way to make a huge impact.

where we plant
We focus our efforts on 4 main areas North America, Latin America, Asia and Africa. We are making a big push to plant in California following the wildfires.
